Manifesto da Quinta do Muro White 2022
The Manifesto da Quinta do Muro White 2022 is crafted from Gouveio, Viosinho, and Malvasia Fina grapes, sourced from the high-altitude areas of Quinta do Muro in Passos – Sabrosa, as well as family-owned properties in Carlão – Alijó. This white wine undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18ºC.
It presents a clear, bright lemon color. The youthful aroma is dominated by tropical fruits, with lychee being particularly prominent. Unlike most light white wines, this one undergoes malolactic fermentation, resulting in a softer acidity. On the palate, there is a distinctive minerality balanced by flavors of citrus fruits and tropical notes, with a marked freshness supported by its excellent acidity.
The Manifesto da Quinta do Muro White 2022 showcases the best of high-altitude vineyards, producing a wine that is both elegant and refreshing. Its unique malolactic fermentation process sets it apart, giving it a softer edge while maintaining vibrant fruit flavors and a well-structured acidity. Manifesto da Quinta do Muro Touriga Nacional Red 2021
The Manifesto da Quinta do Muro Touriga Nacional 2021 is made exclusively from Touriga Nacional grapes sourced from Quinta do Muro, located in Gouvães do Douro, Provesende. This wine undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures of 27/28ºC. Following fermentation, it experiences a maceration period in contact with the grape solids.
This red wine boasts an intense ruby color, with a youthful aroma dominated by black fruits such as blueberry and black plum. As it opens up, resinous notes emerge, with hints of menthol and peppermint, enhancing its freshness. On the palate, it shines with elegance and a well-balanced interplay between volume and tannins, leading to a long-lasting finish marked by its vibrant acidity.
Over time, if aged, it will soften, and flavors of tea, honey, and dried fruits will become more prominent, adding complexity and richness.
